craving... mushrooms

I like all kinds, don't think I ever met a mushroom I didn't like.

So, what recipies with mushrooms come to mind... what do you do with them?

Lately made chicken soup with straw mushrooms, canned but rather good anyway, some seseme oil, and yellow noodles which kind of echoed the texture of the straw mushrooms... some tree ears as well (black fungus)... and of course chunks of chicken... some baby corn, and finally a little water chestnut.

I got three jars of dried French forest mushrooms and I powdered one jar in the food processor I add spoonfuls to lots of things but my favorite is to add it to mashed potatoes with milk or broth for a very fine potato mushroom soup I'll add fresh chopped mushrooms and onion from time to time too.

white or brown mushroom are great as an accompaniment to beef or pork. in a deep saucepan barely brown a little crushed garlic in olive oil and stir in mushrooms. add salt and crushed red pepper to taste.
