Making dried food mixes

I have been trying to collect recipes for putting together mixes for camping and travel that consist primarily of dried ingredients that can be picked up at the local oriental market. I have seen some great looking things down there, but don't know the best ways to use them (it doesn't help that most of the labels are in Vietnamese, Chinese or Thai).

Any suggestions for recipes or links to web sites on using such goodies?
